An idea of what you’ll do:
• Perform general facility maintenance to include basic plumbing, carpentry, painting, drywall patching, replacement of ceiling tiles and flooring repair.
• Perform preventive maintenance and troubleshooting of HVAC equipment including RTUs, Water Source Heat Pumps and Split Systems.
• Work with a standard CMMS ticket based management system to communicate and track customer requests and maintenance tasks.
• Miscellaneous repair, installation and maintenance tasks.
• Maintain stock of consumable products – i.e. lights, filters, belts etc. using a min/max system.
• Share On-call duties with the other Facilities tech.
What you need to bring to the table
• At least two years’ experience.
• An NFPA 70E Certification (or ability to become certified within 6 months of hire).
• Position includes indoor and outdoor assignments, climbing ladders, and assignments that include standing, lifting, stooping, bending, and kneeling. You will also be on-call one week out of every three.
• Being capable of working extended hours, to include weekends and holidays as necessary.
• Able to see well enough to read faint or partially obscured writing or printing, with corrective lenses if needed.
• Be able to speak English in a clear and understandable voice so that various types of communications may be conducted with people of various levels of education and capabilities, to include the exchange and receipt of information over the telephone.
• Position involves standing, stooping, kneeling, pushing, lifting, carrying and moving objects that can weigh up to 75 lbs. This movement can occur throughout the day.
• Be able to drive a car, and possess a valid CO driver’s license. Must be able to transport self around the facilities and amenities.
• Position will alternate between working indoors in a controlled climate and with proper lighting, to an outdoors setting with variable climate and lighting.
