Job Description Pool Service Technician Needed For an 20yr Established Family Run Pool Company, Advantage Pools on Lenow Rd employment type: full-time, paid holiday and vacations Pool Technician to start immediately **Unexperienced candidates may apply for paid training** DISTINGUISHING FEATURES OF THE JOB: -Regularly checks water readings and treats pools with chemicals accordingly, -Check and clean filters, pump, skimmers, valves, tanks, gauges and vents; -Maintains pumps and motors at all pool facilities; -Performs light repair work in and around pools or on the pool decks; -Trains and learns repair situations; -Vacuums pool and brushes deep end, walls and shallow end; -Clean skimmer and pump baskets and assess inappropriate flow pressure problems; -Check pool lights for proper operation; REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES AND ATTRIBUTES: Preferred have a minimum 2 years of experience in pool industry, (CPO preferred). **Unexperienced candidates may apply for paid training** Good knowledge of flows, pressures and capacities of pipes and other equipment Ability to use sound judgment in speaking with customers and applying chemicals Ability to follow oral and written instructions Physical condition commensurate with the duties of the position. Pool Technician to start immediately Applicants MUST have a reliable vehicle to go to and from work for the initial training. Pool Tech MUST have a valid Driver's License **DO NOT APPLY IF NO DRIVER'S LICENSE** The Pool Tech will be driving a company truck and will get paid hourly (based on Experience).
