Maintain distribution of products by managing inflow, outflow, and movement of inventory. For incoming stock, handlers unload trucks or pallets, place inventory on shelves and label it. For inventory shipment pulls, handlers gather items, package them and load them on trucks. Our Stock Handlers are in frequent contact with our customers. Great customer service is very important! Loading new merchandise onto customers’ vehicles. Marking the newly received products with identification tags. Unboxing/unwrapping new products. Reboxing/rewrapping new products. Putting newly received product onto warehouse racks. Pulling product from warehouse racks. Utilizing hand trucks, pallet jacks, pickers, and forklifts to move products throughout the warehouse. Assembling new products using hand or power tools. Examine and inspect stock items for wear or defects, reporting any damage to supervisors. Store items in an orderly and accessible manner in tool rooms, supply rooms, or other areas. Clean and maintain supplies, tools, equipment, and storage areas to ensure compliance with safety regulations. Ensure customer satisfaction. Assist in training of other employees. Meet the required time, daily attendance, work schedule, and attire requirements. Abide by all safety protocols and requirements. Perform other tasks as requested by management.
