UPPER MERION, PA — Lanes will be shut down in Upper Merion this week as improvements get underway on the Chester Valley Trail.
The Saulin Boulevard intersection will see right lane closures in both directions from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. through Saturday, July 17.
Crews will be "improving mobility" for the public in their work along the trail, PennDOT said.
The CVT, founded in 1991, roughly follows Route 202 for more than 14 miles from Upper Merion through Chesterbrook, Tredyffrin, Great Valley, and East Whiteland, to Exton.
A 3.8 mile extension to to the Schuylkill River Trail in Norristown is under construction, and a 20 mile extension out to Lancaster County has been proposed.
