Times columnist Patt Morrison in Tuesday's paper. Her piece gives the history of swimming pools in Los Angeles. In 1925, L.A. officially segregated its swimming pools and includes the story of Ethel Prioleau. Prioleau and her husband were among the owners of Bruce's Beach property in Manhattan Beach.
