Want to become a little more tech savvy? Throughout the month of July, two Dayton Metro Library Branches will host a few specific computer classes.
The Northwest Branch will host two classes geared for older adults. Each class will be held in the Technology Lab, and class size is limited to six participants. The first is "Computer Basics for Older Adults," Thursday, July 15, 2 – 4 pm, where you'll learn the basics of how a computer works, as well as the fundamentals of the operating system. Thursday, July 22, 2 – 4 pm, an "Internet Basics for Older Adults" class will be held. This will be the first class in a three-part series that will prepare users on how to surf the net with confidence.
The Trotwood Branch will host a "Using the PC" class Tuesday, July 20, 10 – 11 am, and again Tuesday, July 27, 3 – 4 pm, in the Community Room. This class is designed to acclimate beginners with various aspects of using a PC.
