Very busy shop Premium Automotive is in need of an experienced, thorough and professional Mechanic. The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing many mechanical issues on customer's cars, including AC, electrical, drivability, brakes, alignments, suspension & steering work. We are looking for a well-trained and highly clean, organized professional who takes pride in his or her work. ***PAY IS HIGHER THAN INDUSTRY STANDARDS*** ***OUR CORE VALUES: INTEGRITY, SERVANTS ATTITUDE, OUR PEOPLE, ACCOUNTABILITY, TEAMWORK, GROWTH, ATTITUDE & FUN!*** ***WE DON'T WORK ON SATURDAYS OR SUNDAYS SO WE CAN BE WITH OUR FAMILIES*** Responsibilities: • Properly Diagnose vehicles based on observational and mechanical testing as well as information provided by the customer • Follow Premium Automotive Services procedures throughout the diagnostics, services and or repairs of the vehicles. • Repair vehicles based on the diagnosed issues and repair estimate • Test drive vehicles after repairs are complete to ensure mechanical soundness and to determine whether any other problems exist • Maintain a clean and safe work area & always clean work area after work is done Qualifications & Skills • High school diploma/GED required • ASE certification preferred but not required • 5+ years of automotive repair experience • Valid driver's license • Excellent communication skills • Knowledge of tools and equipment required to conduct all repairs • Ability to operate diagnostic tools required Job Type: Full-time Pay: $13.00 - $36.00 per hour
