Press release from UNC Greensboro: July 12, 2021 Mark your calendars and dust off your lawn chairs – Spartan Cinema is back! The Friday night outdoor cinema has returned for its fourth season at LeBauer Park in downtown Greensboro. Enjoy the movies you might have missed in theaters as well as some pre-screening events with UNCG offices and local partners. When you visit our UNCG tables at the park, sign up to win a weekly giveaway that includes basketball tickets and UNCG swag. The free series continues through the end of August. The park lawn opens for seating at 5 p.m., and the movie begins at sunset. Food and snacks will be available from the LeBauer Park restaurant kiosks and other vendors. Feel free to bring outside food and non-alcoholic beverages. All movies will be screened with closed captions. Be sure to take note of LeBauer Parks's COVID-19 guidelines.
