The North Carolina Department of Transportation's Office of Civil Rights is seeking firms that specialize in construction and maintenance work Calling all Minority and Women-owned businesses!! Have you considered working on state and/or federally funded highway construction projects? The North Carolina Department of Transportation's Office of Civil Rights is here to help you pursue that option. We are seeking firms that specialize in construction and maintenance work, including but not limited to: concrete, rebar placement, seeding, mulching, temporary fence installation, pipe installation, drainage structures, mowing, litter pickup, hauling, curb and gutter, fence installation, and guardrail installation. If your business is at least 51% owned, operated, and controlled by minorities or women, please consider becoming a part of the Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) Program.
