UPPER EAST SIDE, NY ā Police are looking for three men accused of robbing an Upper East Side convenience store at gunpoint on Sunday ā an act captured on surveillance footage.
Around 10:28 p.m. Sunday, the trio walked into Green Olive Convenient Shop, on First Avenue near East 66th Street. As they approached the 28-year-old store worker, one of them took out a gun and pointed it, while the other two grabbed cash and a carton of cigarettes, police said.
The three men left the store and fled north along First Avenue in a white Honda Accord, police said.

Reports of crime on the Upper East Side have mostly declined this year compared to 2020, according to NYPD statistics. Robberies, burglaries and incidents in transit have all dropped, though assaults, car thefts and sexual assaults have risen, statistics show.
