I have a 3 year old German Shepherd/Husky Mix for rehoming. I have had her since she was 5 months old. She is not spayed. **She will not be rehomed easily as she needs a VERY experienced dog owner.** Java is extremely pet aggressive, especially towards bigger dogs. The reason I am trying to rehome her is because she has attacked my 11 year old Boxer a few times, this last time being the worst. I also have a smaller Chihuahua mix that she has not shown any aggression towards, but ideally, she needs to be the only dog in the home. She is not good with cats either. She has not shown any aggression towards my kids or any people in my home but she is fearful and cautious of strangers and will growl and bark at them. She has never bit anyone but she has never been in a situation where she could, so I honestly don't know how she will react to someone she does not know in close proximity. She is a great guard dog. She is extremely intelligent and LOVES toys. She could play fetch for hours and hours. She can also catch a frisbee. She knows sit, down, stay, roll over, and twirl. And again, she adores toys of all kinds. She needs extensive training and exercise as she is a very hyper dog with a lot of energy. She needs someone willing to take her on walks, runs, bike rides, hikes; any kind of heavy exercise. She also needs to learn how to be around other animals and people calmly and be brushed regularly as she has thick hair and sheds, as expected from a Husky.
