Description

No need to have a dog to enjoy this event. We are back in-person after being virtual last year. Come out to this fun event as we are walking with (or without) our dogs to find a cure for all types of dystonia -- a rare neurological muscle movement disorder that affects men, women and children at any age. This event is for anyone who loves dogs, loves to walk or wants to help find a cure. You do not need to have a dog to participate in this event. You will be able to meet some of the members from the local Dystonia Support Group who battle with their dystonia on a daily basis. There will be a 1.5 mile walk around Thomas Park followed by demonstrations, dog costume contest, raffle, and a silent auction. Cost: $20/person which includes t-shirt to be picked up that day, entry into dog costume contest, and more. Children 3 and under are FREE, however, they will not get a T-shirt. **Pre-register for this event by August 9 to guarantee your t-shirt. You may register the day of the event, however, we cannot guarantee if we will have a t-shirt.
