St. Jude Cancer Research Fundraiser

Hi, I’m posting to ask for some help in creating a successful fundraiser for St. Jude Hospital Cancer Research. St. Jude recently reached out to me as a triathlon athlete and inquired about if I would like to participate in Ironman Indian Wells on Dec. 5, 2021. As a triathlon race enthusiast, I told them I would be very interested in racing as a fundraiser. I replied that I would attempt to commit to a bronze level fundraiser and race the event as well if I could raise the $3000 amount for this cause. St. Jude is a big sponsor for this race event, and I would be thrilled to train and compete in raise knowing I am racing for something bigger than myself, but I need as much help as I can get to reach this goal. We will be planning on filming me throughout race day as well, which will be a video filled with shout outs for those who contributed to this cause. I also am planning on aiming for an elite time in this event and will be searching for a coach during this 6 month training period. So if you know anyone in that field that would be willing to help, please let me know. Also, anything helps, so if anyone has used running, swimming, or biking gear they would like to send my way, that would also be greatly appreciated. As a recent graduate of United States Merchant Marine Academy of Kings Point, NY, this is an opportunity I would like to use to help get the word out about this amazing academy, so again if you think you can help share the word, or spread this message to anyone who would be willing to help, that would mean so much too St. Jude Cancer Research and our school.
