Creative professionals in Sherman Oaks with two boys (ages 7 and 10) are seeking a super organized, sweet, energetic and kind nanny to join their team! Both parents are small business owners working in creative professions. One parent works from home (with occasional travel) and one divides their time between the home office and the workplace. Ideally this person is self-sufficient and takes ownership of the day. The family would love a nanny who values structure but is kind and genuinely enjoys connecting with kids. There will be some light errands, general housekeeping and support with organizing and cooking. MUST have a safe, reliable vehicle and love dogs as there are two! Minimum 3 years of nanny experience with references. This nanny must be patient, excellent at communicating and coaching young kids through any conflicts. This position is mildly flexible, but Friday through Sunday is ideal for the first month (hours vary, but roughly 10 am – 8 pm on the weekends) and $25/hour to start, DOE (minimum 20-hour workweek). Flexibility for more hours. Possible schedule change once school starts in August. This is a great family who would love to find someone for a long-term commitment. Available immediately. The kids enjoy: • Biking/ outdoor activities • Cooking • Swimming • Games and crafts (Lego’s and creative projects) • Walking the dogs Typical schedule includes: • Driving kids to and from activities • Playing with kids • Meal prep and cooking • Tidying and light cleaning • Some organizing • Help with laundry • Homework help once school starts • Help with dogs (take to groomer/ walks) This family is not looking for someone to just clean up after the kids, they're looking for someone that will help teach the kids to clean up after themselves and be accountable for their mess like responsible, kind citizens.
