BMX collector looking for bike mechanic/restorer to clean up and assemble old school 1985 and earlier BMX bikes. Dont need to have been a professional bike mechanic, but experienced is a must. Can do the work at my office or take items home with a decent turnaround. Skills that are valued but not absolutely necessary are lacing and truing spoked wheels, OA bath to remove anodizing, buffing and polishing equip and experience. Looking for someone local in Atlanta but reach out if you do restoring of parts, powder coating/paint anodizing etc as i can ship items as necessary. For the local work looking for someone who loves this stuff can pay about $15-20/hr. Flexible schedule.
