Auto parts importer/exporter is looking for a full time warehouse person to join our team in North Hollywood. Hours are Mon - Fri, 8-5. Must be professional, thorough, punctual and detail oriented.
Duties:
- Count incoming goods
- Pack goods on pallets for export
- Track incoming goods from multiple vendors
- Manage shipments from package-sized shipments up to large 40' container loads for international export
- Be accurate when dealing with packing large quantities
- Keep a clean and orderly warehouse space
- Make pickups from vendors in a box truck
- Load/unload pallets with a forklift
Qualifications:
- Attention to detail
- Able work independently but also be a team player (we have a good team!)
- Good communication skills with the rest of the team
- Heavy lifting required
- Forklift experience necessary (but we can also train and certify)
- Clean driving record to make occasional pickups
- Experience driving a box truck preferred
- International shipping or port experience are +++
We generally don't work weekends or late into the evening. Hours are pretty standard at 40 per week, Monday through Friday. Pay starts at $15/hr but can go up to $20/hr after your first review.
