Room C for RENT Back in 2007, desperately searching for a place to practice the drums, rehearse with bands, jam with fellow musicians and just hang with friends to have a good time and brain storm, and have the freedom to actually execute the ideas, instead of just talking... we rent a small industrial shop in Torrance, and made 6 music rooms inside, and share those rooms with friends and locals. I can't believe how fast the time goes by, we are doing this for 14 years now. During a decade of running the "share house", we have had many artists, musicians, dancers and performers came in and out through each room. Every time, a new friend comes in, we allowed them to do minor changes to custom fit his/her needs. Just on the room C, which is coming available in this July, we started with really loud rock band who made sure that we had good sound proof with next room. Then, we had a beautiful/serious poll dance performer who put a huge mirror on one side of wall, followed by a really peaceful lovely dudes who play acoustic/folk surf music, they certainly brought and set the calm vibe of the room. And, just recently, we had a very respectful tattoo artist came from Japan. She fixed the room so beautifully (as you can see it on the photo). And now she is leaving and opening up her own shop in town. When we started the studios, the purpose of it was just for our own needs of "Practice the music". But now we look back, the real treat from it has been meeting with those artists and performers. Thanks for reading, and please contact me for the room C.
