Fox Hill Village, metro-Boston’s premiere independent living community located in Westwood, MA is seeking experienced Security/Front Desk Associate(s) to greet all visitors and residents with outstanding level of customer service, provide emergency assistance when needed for both residents and staff and maintain integrity of facility security. The ideal candidate will be customer service focused, a multi-tasker, team player and possess superb written and oral communication skills. As well as: - Greet all visitors with a positive attitude and provide direction as needed. - Respond to all emergencies as they occur. - Control access to premises by verifying identification including required documentation of registered agents, patients, caregivers, and visitors before granting entry to any company facilities. - Neutralize situations calmly with tact and common sense. - Watch for safety and fire hazards and other related situations. - Assist the Security Manager with the maintenance and inspection of security related equipment such as surveillance cameras, recording equipment, portable radios, alarms, and perimeter lighting. Must also assist in performing regular system checks as needed. - Monitor surveillance cameras, answer and transfer telephone calls - Communicate relevant information via radio, telephone, and written reports. - Sort packages to be delivered to residents’ apartments. - Shifts include 7:30am to 4:00pm, 3:00pm to 11:30pm and 11:30pm to 8:00am (AWAKE) ***1 weekend Saturday or Sunday, plus Holiday shift required Requirements: · Two (2) years prior experience in security, law enforcement or related field · 1+ year of prior security/front desk, customer service experience highly preferred · High school diploma or GED required · Basic computer operating skills * Ability to communicate in English effectively both verbally and written, obey/enforce the laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts * Must be able to pass a state mandated background check Fox Hill Village provides a family atmosphere.
