Since 2005, Pro-Am Beach Soccer "PABS" has been providing top competitive level tournaments for youth and adults in California and more recently has begun expansion into Florida and Asia.
We are looking for a volunteer/intern who will be able to help with our event August 6/7/8, 2021 at Ocean Beach in San Francisco, CA. You have to be able to provide proof of vaccination and will have to be working within the guidelines and protocols which will be enacted for this event Medical Plan.
We will be working and coordinating with Avanti Sports Medicine and their team to fulfill the obligations and keep everyone safe & having fun as they try & qualify for the US Beach Soccer National Championships.
The volunteers/interns are motivated, self-starters, who can be given assignments and follow through and complete them by given deadlines. They like interacting with diverse communities and see the value in what we are offering.
We will also be setting up fields at Ocean Beach on August 6th (Friday) and starting registration for teams. Volunteers also receive meals while on duty. It is a lot of fun and excitement. The concentrations are as follows:
- Event Day work will/may include (operations):
o Event Set Up
o Selling Merchandise
o Registration
o Awards
o Scoreboard Operator
o Runner
o Bring down the fields & clean up
PABS values are health, loyalty, adventure, happiness, and community.
Please let us know as soon as possible if you can help us get things back to some level of normalcy as we start to see the light is close and brighter at the end of the tunnel.
