Title: Network Cabling Installation Contractor Company: MyTGroup Location: Dallas / Fort Worth Area Work Type: 1099 Contract Labor Compensation: $17hr-$20hr Depending on Experience Company Profile: MyTGroup is a Dallas based company located in the Dallas/Farmers Branch area. Work Description: (Network Cabling Installation Contractor) Pulling cabling through commercial buildings and dressing them very professionally. New builds and existing sites all covered. Work must be near flawless, every single time no matter if being supervised or not. Technician must not cut corners to get work done and work must be completed very rapidly because we are a project-based installation company. Our edge on the industry is providing qualified engineers who can work rapidly and not miss things at every corner. Cabling would include network, audio/video, security, alarm, fiber or any other low voltage cabling. Ability to terminate an array or connections or punch downs. Qualifications: Experience 2-4+ Years installing or servicing networks and network infrastructure Must be able to perform Cat5 terminations, run cable in commercial buildings, etc. For Cabling Tech: 2+ Years working with another cabling company doing installations of network cabling such as category 5e or category 6 cable. For Installer: 2+ Years working with another installation company doing installations of network equipment such as Cat5 cable, routers, switches, servers, etc. Education Certifications in some form of telecommunications preferred Strong communication skills to confidently explain information and converse with customers/clients Organizational skills to effectively understand all the products & plans Self-confidence to take the initiative Working Conditions: Existing Buildings Construction Sites Corporate Offices Small Businesses Schedule Accepting contractors for any available hours Typically, a contractor on our team will experience at least a few days+ of work per week on projects. A couple times per quarter we will acquire large projects that consist of a couple weeks of possible work solid should you accept it. If you can’t accept a project, just decline it and we will call you on the next one. No requirement to accept a project, we use multiple contactors so no hard feelings here. Although, we only accept serious contractors so that doesn’t mean we contract people who regularly can’t perform work. Please e-mail your resume and work experience to apply.
