Job Summary: Performs basic custodial services. Work involves cleaning and sanitation of federal and state buildings. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: - Performs custodial functions such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, cleaning windows, light fixtures, carpet and tile floors. - Restroom maintenance, replenishing supplies and applying cleaning chemicals as appropriate. - Performs minor maintenance and repair work on custodial equipment. - Cleans, dust, and inspects areas such as restrooms, offices, and other facilities as needed. - Operates floor maintenance equipment such as upright and backpack vacuums. - Inspects buildings for cleanliness, completed work, and needed repairs. - Maintains inventory records of building property, custodial equipment, materials, supplies, and equipment. Compensation: $12 to $13 per hour depending on experience. Shift: Varying hours and multiple shifts. Work Location: Denton, TX & Carrollton, TX Term: This is a three (3) month temporary position.
