The Ms Health and Fitness 2021 competition is underway!! mshealthandfitness.com/2021/elvira-mad VOTE FOR ELVIRA.... Greensboro local and 19-year NC resident, healthcare worker, MHA student, mother of two, autism activist, and now--since the start of the pandemic--a newly-turned professional figure competitor. Elvira has made so many amazing contributions to her place of work, Cone Health at Greensboro, helping to educate workers and patients about COVID-19 and the importance of obtaining the vaccine--in particular among populations where hesitancy is high. She has also been a long time supporter of HORSEPOWER, a local organization that supports individuals with physical, intellectual and emotional disabilities through therapeutic horseback riding and equine-assisted therapy. Now, she is inspiring mothers and women over 40 everywhere to pursue their fitness goals and to do so with confidence and with pride. As a mother of an autistic daughter, Elvira has reaped numerous benefits of equine therapy such as improving social interaction, controlling impulse, and building confidence. Winning the competition would allow her to continue to pursue her fitness goals as well as develop a platform and build a scholarship fund to support children who can benefit from equine therapy.
