Looking to collaborate with someone with similar interest in developing an acoustic duet or maybe trio. Would like to develop an interesting set list of covers and original music that would appeal to small venues (restaraunts, bars, clubs, etc.) for short shows. My acoustic musical tastes are wide ranging (Neil Young, Bruce Springsteen, Mellencamp, Lyle Lovette, Tom Petty, Ryan Bingham, Jim Webb/Glen Campbell, America and many others). Would to avoid getting in a rut of playing the same songs month after month and so would want to rehearse and play enough to always be adding fresh material (original and covers). I have been playing gigs at events and venues for the past five years or so and want to explore possibilities. Objective would be to get to a point where the group could perform at smaller venues with a minimum of set up time for shows no longer than a couple of hours on a regular basis. Getting to this is gonna take commitment and common vision and good chemistry... Let me know if this sound interesting.
