Field Technicians will perform entry-level duties to learn about chemical cleaning of steel piping in aerospace, biotechnology, and pharmaceutical facilities. You’ll learn how to complete the chemical cleaning process in a safe and efficient manner to prevent unnecessary downtime for our clients and their operations. Duties ○Extensive overnight travel by land and/or air ○Load/unload vehicle with proper equipment and chemicals ○Drive vehicles including cars, trucks, sprinter vans, and forklifts ○Work with various chemicals including but not limited to citric, caustic and other hazardous materials ○Proper calculation, installation, and operation of equipment Requirements ○Ability to read and understand work instructions and documents ○Effective verbal and written communication skills ○Ability to perform basic mathematical functions (compute rate, ratio, and percent) ○Basic computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook ○Ability to operate and lift weight-bearing equipment up to 50 lbs ○Ability to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) ○Standing, walking, reaching, climb and balance ○High school diploma or GED ○Current and valid Class C driver’s license ○Ability and willingness to obtain a valid Medical DOT Certificate Eastridge is an equal opportunity employer.
