Boulder Hemp Assistant Grower (part-time, 10 -20 hours per week) • The assistant grower’s role is to support the lead grower with all aspects of seed production at the Bramwood facility in Longmont. • Required to work independently and alone frequently. • Report to the lead grower and work alongside the lead grower at times. • Take responsibility for identifying and helping to solve many of the issues that may occur in the seed production facility. • During times of high work demand such as harvest, the assistant grower will need to work with a small team. • Attention to detail is required. • The work is moderately physical, requiring the ability to lift up to 30 lbs. and be on your feet for extended periods. • Cultivation experience is helpful, but not required. • Responsibilities include: o Irrigation o Fertigation o Pruning and training plants o Monitoring plant health o Monitoring plants for pests o Checking the facility for environmental issues o Transplanting o Tracking and adjusting plant stock o Harvesting o Cloning o Planting seeds o Facility cleaning, organization, and maintenance o Purchasing supplies & driving o Communicating effectively via email and phone Please send a resume that includes recent work references and a short introductory email via the craigslist relay to apply.
