PORTLAND PUBLIC SCHOOLS HIRING FULL-TIME AND PART-TIME CUSTODIANS We have opened 40 more Full-time Civil Service Custodian positions and 2 more Part-time Custodian jobs. Our pay rates have increased, as well. Pay will start at $16.70/ hr. with incredible benefits. Our need for Custodians is immediate and we would love to hear from you! WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU: • Punctuality and reliability • Ability to pass a short multiple choice skills test equipment, safety, and best practices in the field. • Basic computer skills to clock in/out • Ability to perform essential duties/ physical tasks (see job posting) • Ability to pass a background check after job offer, we do not drug test SUPPORT IN SUCCESS: This job is represented by the Service Employee’s International Union (SEIU) and offers access to the Employee Assistance Program (EAP).
