We have recently opened a new Bodega, and are looking for some help both behind the scenes and some front-of-house customer service.
The job description… this is a complicated ask, but here goes…
• Someone to receive, unpack and prepare our products for display in the Bodega
• Assist with quality control and visuals on the shelves
• Help at the cash register when needed. You’ll need to have good computer savvy.
• Help with inventory controls and keeping track of ordering
• Have good spelling/handwriting? That is a big plus as we hand-label most of our items
• Be willing to step in to help with any gaps that need filling
I am guessing that no one has exactly this experience, but I am looking for people that have good knowledge of food, produce and have a keen interest in the Tucson Food scene. I am hoping for someone with some sort of relevant job experience in either groceries or restaurants.
We carry locally raised meats, produce, unique groceries, gourmet take-out in the Bodega, and offer full-service off-site catering for events. You would be an integral part of our small but seriously motivated team of mature and hard-working staff. We have pivoted, re-branded and basically re-invented ourselves during COVID, created a successful “quaranteam” to help get through the pandemic without infecting each other, and are committed to having a safe working environment for both us and our clients. We would expect you to be part of those efforts.
