ABOUT THE POSITION: Our client is seeking motivated, team oriented candidates to embark on a successful career as a Mechanical Assembler. This client was established in 1936, and has nearly 80 years of experience manufacturing, engineering and distributing industrial, compressed air and process cooling equipment for a variety of industries. They offer a diverse group of industrial machinery specifically tailored to their customer's needs. Their standard products include air cooled chillers, water cooled chillers, fluid pumping stations, heat exchangers, fire protection air compressors, desiccant air dryers, nitrogen generators, refrigerated air dryers, filters, drains, safety valves, oil water separators, and a host of ancillary equipment. RESPONSIBILITIES: Under direction of assigned supervisor, build/assemble products and accessories to specifications detailed on engineering prints & instructions. Ensure proper parts are being used and that product passes final tests/inspections. Gather parts as required to fulfill production schedule. Assemble subassemblies for production lines. Ensure products are properly labelled and packaged. Aid in cleaning workstation and common areas as required. Assist with other production and tasks as required. QUALIFICATIONS: Must be able to lift 75-lbs. Must be able to use hand tools and small power tools. Motivated to learn. Mechanically inclined. Education and Training Prior manufacturing experience, familiarity with hand tools. Must be able to complete a Drug Test and Background check BENEFITS AND PERKS: Paying: $15.00/hour Temp to hire position. Able to grow within the company due to performance and willingness to grow. Hours of operation for 1st Shift are: Monday -- Friday 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM. Company benefits after conversion. PRE-EMPLOYMENT TESTING: Background check will be done on all qualified applicants Must pass pre-employment drug screening All job offers are contingent upon the successful completion of a background check and drug screening.
