Property Maintenance Man Wanted (Philadelphia) The primary goal of this position is to provide a safe living environment for residents. Responsibilities will include but won't be limited to: - Must keep property organized and clean - assess maintenance needs - repair items in a timely manner - some maintenance items may include painting, repairing sheetrock walls and ceilings, light plumbing repairs, install kitchen tiles and flooring, light electrical repairs, carpentry repairs and similar items - working with the building owner to schedule work for newly vacant apartments - coordinate inspections and prepare the building for inspections - snow removal and salting of small area outside of building Qualifications/Background: - Property maintenance experience - Must have a valid driver’s license` or a reliable transportation - Experience in electrical, plumbing, carpentry and appliance repair - Comfortable with being on-call for emergencies - Ability to handle and manage building concerns and maintenance issues. - Must keep good relations with residents.
