Private country club located on the North shore is currently seeking a Head Lifeguard and two lifeguards. This is a temporary position running through Labor Day weekend. We can be flexible for the final weeks. For Head Lifeguard, you must have a Nassau County Class II or III Lifeguard card. A Bachelors Degree is preferred. You must also have the following certifications from the American Red Cross or equivalent; Lifeguard Management and Water Safety Instructor. the starting pay for this position is $21.00 per hour. For the Lifeguard position, you must have a Nassau County Lifeguard card of any level. This position pays $16.00 per hour. Both positions are eligible for commissions for swim lessons and clinics in addition to your hourly pay. Reporting to our Aquatic Director, these are great opportunities for someone who shows responsibility and leadership.
