Shop Mechanic/Fabricator MidAmerica Liner is a specialty construction company installing liner, covers and other geosynthetic materials for private, industrial, and municipal applications across the United States. Our business focuses specifically on designing and installing anaerobic covers and wastewater systems. We are seeking a full time Shop Mechanic to maintain, diagnose, and repair tools and equipment at our shop location in Strafford, MO. Shop Mechanic duties include but not limited to: Maintain, diagnose, and repair the following tools and equipment: • Honda 4x4 • Honda EU 7000 Generator with Inverter • Stihl products • Demtech Equipment • McElroy Pipe Fusion Equipment • Small power tools and electric motors • Cargo Trailer electric repair and wheel bearing Maintenance • Toyota Forklift • Bobcat and Gehl Diesel Telehandlers • Automotive and diesel motor knowledge (preferred) Other Job Duties include: • Maintain repair and maintenance records on all equipment. • Keep inventory records of all equipment. • Do inventory checks of crew trailers upon arrival at headquarters. • Maintain spare parts and maintenance supply inventory. • Submit purchase requests when inventories are low. Must be willing to participate in the fabrication of parts and general operations of the production side of the business. Those duties may include any of the following: • Operate forklifts. • Load and unload deliveries. • Materials inventory. • Palletize and crate materials for delivery. • Pipe fusion • HDPE extrusion welding Requirements for consideration: • Valid Driver’s License • Pass Drug and Alcohol tests • Experience with small engine repair and/or automotive maintenance • Ability to work with a team and be able to rapidly shift focus when needed.
