A One Janitorial LLC is Currently seeking a highly motivated candidate to fill an Janitorial Supervisor position The responsibility of a janitorial supervisor is to ensure that the facility is cleaned correctly and according to the client's instructions or standards. To accomplish that goal, supervisor inspect the facility to determine any unusual or cyclical work that needs to be done, such as periodically stripping floor wax, cleaning overhead light fixtures or shampooing carpets. Supervisor maintain a checklist of routine or daily cleaning chores as well. They assign workers to specific chores or areas and then inspect the work to ensure it has been done satisfactorily. If the client has complaints about missed or improperly cleaned areas, the investigates the complaint and takes steps to ensure that the problem will not recur. Janitorial supervisor typically handle many personnel duties. They often interview applicants, train new employees and prepare performance reviews. If disciplinary action is needed, it is normally the supervisor's responsibility to issue reprimands, counsel employees about their performance, determine whether additional training is required or, if necessary, terminate the employee. They may prepare work schedules, as well as track employee attendance and report hours worked to the payroll department. Janitorial operations managers may inspect cleaning equipment and perform routine maintenance. Whenever necessary, supervisor may also assist workers to ensure that all tasks are completed in a timely manner. Skills and Knowledge • Minimum of 2+ years of supervisory skills including: A strong sense of urgency, excellent customer service skills, good attention to detail, creative problems solving skills, excellent delegation and follow up skills, ability to get the team to execute the priorities you lay out, and to be a good role model and to consistently exhibit the highest level of professionalism and integrity. • Ability to work a flexible schedule including a majority of weekend shifts. • Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. * Bilingual Please email your resumé to [email protected]
