Diversified Association Management a growing company and a leader in Homeowner Association Management is currently seeking a full-time Maintenance Technician. Job Description: The Maintenance Technician is responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of facilities, buildings and grounds of the communities under a maintenance contract with the management company. Responsibilities: Perform building and amenity maintenance to assure the completion of assigned / ongoing work orders. Routine interior and exterior maintenance of the properties managed and maintained by the management company. Proper storage and security of all equipment and tools and maintenance of work areas and storage areas in a safe, neat and clean condition. Requisition and tracking of supplies (shovels, lightbulbs, paint, tools, etc.,) with pre-approval from Manager when needed. Identify, report, and perform minor repairs on landscaping issues along designated roads. Pick up and properly dispose of litter or debris along road sides and other common areas. Snow removal services for communities. Employee will be on-call for this service. Prepare and maintain proper records such as reports on operations and daily activities in maintenance software. Communicate effectively with Community Managers and keep them up to date on completed projects and problems. Must be skilled in organizing time and communicating in a timely manner about the work assigned and accomplished. Operate all power and hand equipment in a safe manner. Maintain safe and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures; complying with legal codes and regulations. Respond to the directives given by the Board and Community Management. Requirements: The Maintenance Technician should have a minimum of 2 years experience in maintenance services. 4+ years of relevant experience desired. Technical training in electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and other building trades is a plus.
