Pettit Staffing is looking for reliable, physically fit, and enthusiastic people to join our clientele for commercial delivery drivers. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are a must. The delivery teams provide the first in-person contact customers have with our clients brand. What’s in it for you: • This position starts at $17 to $19 per hour! DOE • OT available • May wear Uniforms and swag (which actually look cool) • We pay for your Safety boots, if needed • After a 3-month probationary period: Opportunity for a temporary to hire with o Access to health and dental benefits package Key Responsibilities What you'll do: • Drive a box truck surrounding areas of Salem/Portland. • Work with a delivery partner in 2-person teams to deliver a variety of furniture items into the homes and businesses of our amazing customers • Safely load and unload furniture from the warehouse into the delivery vehicle • Lift and move furniture into residential locations safely and with care • Unpack and assembly of furniture and household accessories • Follow DOT regulations and safety standards • Provide professional and friendly customer engagement and communication • Follow routes and time schedules • Work in the warehouse to complete warehouse associate duties as required CUSTOMER SERVICE EXPECTATIONS • Maintain a positive, empathetic, and professional attitude toward customers at all times • Acknowledge and resolve customer complaints • Meet and exceed demanding standards as we work to go beyond our customers’ expectationsSkills Knowledge and Expertise Requirements • 2+ years of professional box truck driving experience • 1+ years of experience in customer service • Must have a valid state driver’s license and have a clean driving record for the last three years • Must be physically fit and able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds; delivering furniture is challenging work and we don't want you to hurt yourself HOW TO APPLY: please send resume to this posting PETTIT STAFFING IS A EOE
