My name is Irene and I am looking for my furever home! I am located in Medford, Oregon. I am three year old white with black spots Persian mix. My family is sad to re-home me but knows it's the best thing they could do for me at this time. I am spayed and a little on the plump side but will be your best friend. I am a lover but enjoy me time. I love to be outside and I hope the family that adopts me has a yard. I stick close to home and love food! I also love taking walks with my humans around the neighborhood. I will follow you as far as I can go, wait for you and walk with you home! I'm loyal, sweet and only want to be loved. If you're interested in adopting Irene please reach out. I am super sad that I have to give her up but it's the best thing I could do for her right now. I adopted Irene two years ago in September from a rescue up in Eugene. She originally came from Idaho and in her first year she had a litter of kittens. I had her spayed in February of 2020. She does have a microchip but I never got around to registering it. My family and I love Irene so very much but we don't exactly have an ideal home setting for her at the moment (we travel a lot for work and don't have a yard, this would be a requirement if you're looking to adopt her). I'm not asking a rehoming fee but I would like to see where she will be living and the environment she will be in. I can provide a litter box and some food so she can hopefully stay on the same food. I would prefer her to go to a home that is familiar with Persians. They are a lot of up keep and need to be brushed/groomed often due to fine hair that mats easily. Irene loves to roll in the dirt so mats are easy to aquire in her fur, I'm currently battling a couple! I just want a good, honest home for her. She's used to being around children and other female cats, she's pretty adaptable but is dominant. So if you have other animals please be aware Irene might put up a fight. It might be best if she's the only animal due to she loves and needs lots of attention! She also loves to be outside, that's her happy place and she never strays too far, she's pretty food driven, lol. She sticks close to home and usually comes in when called. Phone calls only!
