Responsibilities:
The Observer: Observes the data stream and informs the driver how to navigate so the sampling vehicle.
The Driver: Drives the van around the landfill on public roads adjacent to monitored landfills
The Observer and Driver will switch positions periodically. The driver is required to execute frequent safe and legal u and multi point turns in a full sized van or suv.
The selected candidate will need:
-at least 21 years of age
-provide CA driving record
-complete the Waste Management online safety class before hire and must also adhere to COVID safety protocols designated at the time of travel.
Dates of Hire:
Yolo County, CA 8/22 to 8/25 - 8 to 5 pm working day. Approximately 30 hrs total work hours.
Simi Valley, CA 8/30 to 9/1 - approximately 24hrs
Corona, CA, 9/6 to 9/8 - approximately 24 hrs
Sites maybe selected individually
Qualifications:
Experience driver and qualify to drive a rental vehicle (mini-van or full sized SUV
Clean driving record
Ability to work effectively in a crowded space for 6 to 8 consecutive hours.
