PLEASE READ BEFORE RESPONDING! SAVE YOUR TIME! If you arent LGBT+ friendly, you might as well just back out... you wont like me lol The majority of you wont make it to the end of this.. Im okay with that. I mean for this to filter people out lol this will be long, but it'll tell you most of what you need to know about me, my background and what my goals here are. Im not desperate to find a new music project. Id rather be patient and continue solo, then get involved in the wrong band again. Ive taken things too seriously with the wrong musicians and thats when things get messy on tour and in the studio... chemistry first ------ I'm 28 years old. Ive been guitar-ing, singing, songwriting and tinkering with other instruments here and there since I was... 6-ish? Anyway, I had been on "hiatus" for a few years.. Its what I told myself to feel better about abandonding my music when I needed it most... lol Over the past few months, Ive been slowly rebuilding. I got pretty rusty, I wont lie. But its coming back ------ Ive been a lead guitarist before, but Im no shredder. My comfort zone is rhythm while singing, with the occasional melodic solo. Im not an amazing singer, but I can spike microphones when recording and Im not tone deaf haha I have my own sound and Its gotten me good feedback soo far sooo ----- Some of the best bands in history constructed of just average players, that together, created magic.. Im pretty eclectic when it comes to listening AND creating. I dont want to be stuck in ONE genre. Thats boring.. Ive participated in just about everything. While being simple with sub-genres.. Ive been involved in; alt. rock, blues, grunge, punk, thrash, country, folk, hip hop and dubstep. Most of my interests for future creating consist of alt rock/grunge, blues and folk-rock. But I dont want to ONLY do those. Lets make music thats your happy place tooo! ---- It would be SUPER rad to start a versatile band. Something where more than just one of us sings, sort of like The Eagles maybe? Or maybe even a community of musicians who collab together? Im open to playing bass when I need to and so on, especially if a song works out best that way. I dont care about what everyone else is doing. I just want US to have fun, heal our lives and make great music! Most of my songs are pretty real and deep, but Id love to make some fun music people can get energized to and I LOVE comedy, especially dark humor... so some comedic songs would be AWESOME too. I even have some material we can build off of lol Without sounding TOO much like Im trying to court you... haha Id like to start just... getting to know each other. If we dont click as friends, this isnt going to work for me.. Ive done the "session", serious "working" musician thing before. Its not my thing. Im personable and loving and I want my band to be family-like. Thats not for everyone, I get it. Which is why Im being upfront about it now lol If we click like that? Id like to start simple with recording cover videos. Get acquainted with playing with each other, start developing a sound, creating content to help get attention and perhaps find other bandmates with and also be working on our original material behind the scenes. I have plans on how we can get paid as well, if we want to go that route.... We'll fine-tune the project as things move along lol ------ Now... the catch... I am transgender... male to female.... Im not "out" yet. Only my brother, girlfriend, and a few close friends know. But.... if we're going to be starting a band together and all goes well? Its good for you to know youll be around for my transition from start to finish.... So hopefully you're okay with that lol Anyway. We can nerd out with music-speak over text or whatever.
