Sunday night, July 11. Roughly 10pm at the Van Leeuwen on Vanderbilt and Dean. I'm waiting in line to get ice cream and it's crowded in the shop. Ahead of me is a woman late 20s or early 30s, highlights, ice blue floral mini dress, and she's asking the scooper for a complicated order. A cone and a cup, lots of flavors. She gets her cone and takes photos and videos of it before happily leaving the store. I'm a minute behind with my ice cream.
In that minute she had a blowup argument with someone, presumed to be her partner. She immediately threw out both ice creams and angrily rode off on a Citibike.
Did anyone hear the argument? She was in there for like 20 minutes and I need to know why she threw away the ice cream. Thank you.
