Description
I'm a retired and fully vaccinated senior citizen (70s) former software engineer turned hobbyist accordion player/singer. I have been at it for a few years. I've learned to read sheet music and have written some originals. I like folk, classic rock, comedic tunes, Americana, Celtic, world, really all types of music.
I'm looking for other middle or senior citizen musicians (any instrument -- violin especially welcomed) or singers who
- are reasonably comfortable working from sheet music
- are also vaccinated,
- reside in northern or central NJ
that would like to get together for practice sessions, preferably during the daytime, to collaborate, help each other develop, work on duets and have some musical fun. If it leads to getting a set down and playing open mics or healthcare facilities all the better, but not required.
If the above sounds like something you'd enjoy, pop me a note so we can discuss and get acquainted. Be sure to include a rundown of your musical interests and activities and mention special considerations, if any. Thanks.
