Rapid Door and Trim provides doors, trim, hardware and various accessories for commercial construction projects in the NY, NJ and CT area. We are seeking an experienced delivery driver and warehouse helper with flexibility for early mornings, evenings and occasional weekends. Responsibilities include • Deliveries to customers throughout NY, NJ and CT in 24’ Non-CDL box truck • Receiving incoming deliveries, unloading trucks with use of forklift • Loading trucks to prepare for outgoing deliveries • Maintaining equipment and vehicles • Assist with maintaining warehouse orders and inventory • Assist field carpenters as needed, some skills required Preferred Skills/Qualifications • Valid and Clean driver’s license - Must • Non-CDL truck driving experience - Must • Forklift operation certified - preferred • OSHA10 certification - preferred • General construction experience – preferred • Ability to sit and stand for long periods of time • Able to lift up to 75 pounds • Willing to work Overtime hours!! **Must have medical card for delivery driver or be willing to complete pre-employment physical. The base pay range is $18-22 hourly. OT is time and a half pay.
