We're thrilled to get the Fund Milwaukee community together again in person to hear pitches from two great Milwaukee businesses! Agenda 5:15pm: Event Space Open 5:30: Welcome 5:45: Middle East Side Pitch and Q&A 6:15: MobCraft Pitch and Q&A 6:45pm: Wrap 7:00pm: Mingle in the Event Space 7:30pm: Continue Hanging Out in the MobCraft Taproom About Middle East Side Middle East Side is a LGBTQ/Latinx-owned Levantine Street food concept created by California native and Chef/Owner John Chandler, currently operating as a lunch pop-up out of the downtown Milwaukee restaurant Amilinda, with plans to move to the 3rd Street Market Food Hall (opening in September). Middle East Side was created to offer something new to the Milwaukee food scene, with dishes and flavors not currently being offered by anyone else in town. It is the world’s first crowdsourced brewery. MobCraft’s taproom is located at 505 S. 5th Street in the Walker’s Point neighborhood of Milwaukee, WI. Each month the crowd submits and votes on beer ideas. At the end of the month, the winning beer is brewed and available for all to enjoy.
