Chase has got it all, handsome good looks, a happy and playful personality, and so very smart! He has spent the last months in a wonderful home, and due to circumstances and no fault of his own, he is back with us again. At about 2 1/2 years old now, he is a little bit older and a whole lot wiser! He has been working his way through several obedience levels, and has found that routine and structure, consistency and of course a lot of fun and games keep him satisfied and occupied. Chase is sincere in all he does, and we could all learn from how he lives so present in each moment. Catch his rising star and take this boy home! Our process: If you are interested in Chase or any of our adorable adoptables, please fill out an adoption application here: https://www.pawsofhertfordcounty.org/forms/. An adoption counselor will be in contact with you following the submission of your application. If approved, they will arrange a meet and greet at one of our monthly trips to Chesapeake or at our shelter. Visits to the shelter are by appointment only, as we are a volunteer-run rescue organization. All PAWS dogs are spayed/neutered, and current on the vaccinations appropriate for their age. Those who are confirmed over 4 months old or older will have their rabies vaccinations. Age permitting, dogs/puppies are tested for heartworm. All are treated with flea/tick prevention and given internal parasite preventative on a regular basis. All are microchipped (for their safety and the adopter's peace of mind) as part of the adoption fee.
