Human Trafficking Training and Outreach | Tea Cup Set Donation Project Overview: Human trafficking commonly happens at hotels. To combat this, The S.O.A.P. Project aids in the recovery of victims by providing hotels with missing children's posters, tips on how to spot human trafficking and soap labeled with the Human Trafficking Hotline Number. Join us for a training on human trafficking and then have an opportunity to take action and help with the fight against Human Trafficking! What to Know: We are asking volunteers to donate 1 or more fine bone china cup sets with a matching saucer to attend this event. In addition to having volunteers contact hotels, S.O.A.P. Cleveland, also supports retreats to help survivors in their journey of healing. They provide survivors with a “high tea” consisting of an elegant luncheon and varieties of tea served with a fine china cup and saucer, which the survivors keep. Age Restrictions: Participates must be 16 years old or older Parking: Fairview Park Journey campus has a parking lot next to the church. Additional parking is on the street in front of the church or the lot across the street. Arrival: Please arrive 5-10 minutes early to give yourself time to park and check in with our Hope Week Team. Can’t wait for you to join us for this Hope Week project! We are so excited to partner with S.O.A.P., Saving Our Adolescents from Prostitution! "Hope Week is a great way to spread awareness for human trafficking as well as to participate in the fight against human trafficking!" - Peggy, Volunteer Coordinator at S.O.A.P. Cleveland Their Mission: To end human trafficking by mobilizing communities, provide prevention education and advocacy, and facilitate restorative experiences for survivors. We create solutions through the eyes of survivors who are at the center of everything we do and provide opportunities for community action and survivor growth. We lift up the voices and lives of survivors. @SOAPCleveland More About S.O.A.P. here
