Join Portland Area Climbers Coalition and Merrell to give back to a local crag with trail maintenance other local climbers! Portland Area Climbers Coalition and Merrell have teamed up to help maintain the trails at Broughton Bluff. Join fellow local climbers as we give back to help keep access open to climbers in the area and have some fun while you do it. To really make it special we will also have a number of perks for people participating on the day including: Raffles for participantsMerrell Boot Demo'sFree drinks and snacks to keep the energy upPizza lunch and drinks to refuel when the work is done Tools will be available for some but if we have a good turnout it would be helpful if you have any of your own you can bring: ShovelsMetal RakesSmall Sledge HammersHedge TrimmersBranch SawsWeed WackersWork GlovesIf not no worries, we will be sure to get you something so you can put in some work! We will meet at the Lewis & Clark State Recreation Site parking lot at 9:30am and head down the trail at 9:45am. If you arrive late, just walk down the trail until you find people working. Merrell demo boots will be available or bring your own comfortable, solid hiking boots or shoes for work.
