alternative/punk/indie rock band seeks drummer

Hey there, we're a relatively new Brooklyn-based alternative/punk/indie rock band and we're looking for a hard hitting drummer. We're totally open to male or female players but please have prior band experience, be into this kind of music and be over 30 and able to get to practice on time. Some of our main influences are: Quicksand, Hum, Failure, Fugazi, Swervedriver, Hot Water Music, Jawbreaker/Jets To Brazil, Alkaline Trio, Get Up Kids, Texas Is The Reason, The Clash, The Damned, The Cure, Joy Division, Interpol, Black Angels, Black Rebel Motorcycle Club, Ride, and Jesus & Mary Chain to name just a few. Basically a good mix of 90's alternative, punk, some shoegaze and a little psych rock. You can hear some music (all songs are minus vocals) at https://soundcloud.com/supercollider_nyc. We practice weekly, intend to play shows when there's shows to be played again, and eventually record. We're not into heavy drinking/drugs or drama queens or flakes. We take music seriously, but we're not looking to take over the world. Basically we just want to make music with like minded individuals who are into this sort of music and have FUN doing it.
