About Caritas Communities: The mission of Caritas Communities is to prevent homelessness by providing very low-income individuals with permanent housing, support, a sense of community and expanded opportunities. Since 1985, Caritas has helped fill the need for safe, secure housing in Greater Boston because we believe no one should be homeless. Caritas Communities is the largest non-profit owner of Single Room Occupancy (SRO) housing in Greater Boston – serving over 1,000 people annually.
As a Site Manager you will be part of the Caritas team working with the Property Manager and others providing safe, affordable, and permanent housing low-income individuals. While maintaining your community you will respond to tenants’ questions and concerns and help them understand house and lease rules, collect rents, and distribute notices. Show the apartments and help get them ready for the next resident after a move out. You will assist with ordering supplies, meet with venders, keep shared areas clean, perform simple repairs. Additional responsibilities not listed here may also be assigned to this position.
