Join the Over Under Initiative for its first court conversion at Cesar A Batalla Elementary School. A message from Kyle Martino, Founder of the Over Under Initiative: I'm so excited to be inviting you to the Over Under Initiative's inaugural court launch this Saturday, July 17, at 3PM, at Cesar A. Batalla School in Bridgeport, Connecticut. In partnership with Beachside of Connecticut Soccer Club and Bridgeport Public Schools, we've worked to #OpenPlay by converting a basketball court into a multi-sport court. When I ran for US Soccer President three years ago, the issue that became abundantly clear as the most pressing to me was access to sport. Soccer is, unfortunately, the privilege of a few rather than a right for all. I spoke to so many kids and parents who were locked out of soccer because of high cost and/or lack of facilities. Thousands of hours of R&D later, we've built a solution and we are ready to share it with the world. This court will be the first of many as we work to make sport a right for all.
