Join Althea Center for our Sunday Gathering with Christopher Maier as he help us find the One who can welcome home all of our inner refugees Join Althea Center for Engaged Spirituality in our upcoming Sunday Gathering, "Who Welcomes All Your Guests?", with Christopher Maier. All are welcome to be with us! When: Sunday, July 18, 10:30 - 11:45 am MT *Doors will open at 10:15 am & RSVP is appreciated, but not required. Rumi sees being human as a guest house where all guests will be welcomed. That’s not possible so long as who we take ourselves to be is just one of the guests. Drawing on a spiritual psychology that equally recognizes our multiplicity and our singularity, Christopher Maier will help us find the One who can welcome home all of our inner refugees, and bring harmony to our inner ecology. We'll also have toe-tappin' bluegrass music by Front Porch Singers! Sunday Lunch Is Back! Join us for a delicious, locally sourced, & organic light lunch from Chef Kerry. We are beyond excited to have our dining room full of food and fellowship again. Lunch $7 Guest Speaker: Christopher Maier Christopher's professional life has braided together his theatrical years as a writer-storyteller-flamenco dancer with five decades of exploration and practice of spiritual psychotherapies. He is currently writing a book on the five stories we suffer from as we transform our pathology into our path. His mix of poetry, storytelling, song, and inspiration made him a popular speaker and workshop leader here during the three years of our transition (2012-2015) to becoming the Althea Center. whole-story.com Musical Guest: Front Porch Singers Featured at Swallow Hill Music in Denver, the Front Porch Singers will get your toes tappin' with their bluegrass band.
