Fresh from beating the decks at Pier 31 in hometown Chicago with Terry Hunter, we're ready to hear him bring the disco fellowship to the decks in LA under the Long Beach sky. Joining him on the decks... DERRICK WIZE is the co-founder and resident DJ on one of the biggest soulful house music festivals of Los Angeles - SOULNIC (returning 2022). His soulfully commanding technique makes it very difficult for any music fan to sit still when he’s playing. As a child of the 70’s from the south side of Chicago, his style reflects the evolution of house music from disco. As a result, he is known for combining a medley of choice modern electronic grooves with his own edits and great classics to keep the floor (or boat) rocking.
