General laborer in our post manufacturing plant. • Catch and sort wood posts and rails. • Determine if product meets our standards or will be culled • Sort to proper diameter • Maintain efficient flow of materials • Picking up and carrying product to appropriate cradle. • Material can weigh 15 to 90 plus pounds. • The sorting duty rotates shifts and is performed twice a day for 2 hour intervals. • Product must be counted and tagged and free of bark. • Once cradle is full it is pushed out to be banded. Cradles have wheels. • Cradles fill about every 15 minutes. • Cradle weight varies on what product is contained in the cradle. Cradles can weigh up to 4000 pounds. • Must be able to climb up on the carriage when it is locked out to fix any issues that happen during normal operations • Must be on constant look out for possible dangers or improvements to the operations • Being able to stay busy and productive during working operations. • On occasion run a loader or forklift. • Must be able to work well with others. • Maintain constant production to keep up with sales Great benefits and pay.
